Have fun with your family in your new pool!
Few things in life are as good as having fun with the family in the pool on a hot summer day! With that in mind, we made a compilation of games that are successful among families who experience our pools!
1. Pass the ball
For this game, it is interesting to have a large group of children, as they will be divided into two teams. Each team must line up and hold their own ball. The first player will pass the ball, through the legs, to the back player. Upon receiving the object, he will pass it to the third, but over the head, taking turns.
The teams will alternate the sequence until reaching the last one, who will swim to the beginning of the line and then pass the ball again. The game repeats until the first player returns to the original position. The team that finishes first wins.
With this activity, children will train teamwork, motor coordination, swimming and concentration.
2. Marco Polo
This is one of the most traditional pool games. It is necessary to choose or draw by lot who will be the “hunter”, who will be blindfolded and will have to go after the other players. To know where to look, he will shout "Marco", and the others must answer "Polo". The “hunter” becomes the one who is caught first. In the game, children will practice water agility, swimming and balance.
3. Treasure Hunt
Collect different objects that are safe and that sink in the water. Throw them into the pool and count a certain amount of time. Children should dive to gather the objects one at a time and place them in a bucket or on the edge of the pool. At the end of time, whoever gathers the most treasures wins.
A variation of this game is to use only an object that camouflages itself at the bottom of the pool. Whoever manages to find the treasure wins the game, but players cannot see where the object was dropped. Here, children will practice breathing, breathing, diving and swimming.
4. Wet sponges
To play this pool game, you need two sponges and two basins or buckets. It is possible to play with teams or individually. The child should swim from one end of the pool to the other, where the basin was placed. So, you must wring the water from the sponge. She goes back to the beginning and returns to fill the bucket.
In a variation of the game, use a bucket at each end for each child and, at the end of a certain time, whoever adds more water will have won. Place a colored tape mark on the basin so that the water level reached is more visible. Breathing, swimming, muscle strength and endurance are all stimulated with the activity.
5. Crazy crossing
The crazy crossing is a pool game that demands a lot of breath from the kids. To play, gather players and determine a course that must be completed by them. This path can be crossing the pool, swimming in different styles, going around it, picking up an object at the bottom, among other tasks. Whoever completes all the steps in less time wins the competition.
The challenge is a kind of scavenger hunt in the water. With it, children will train swimming, breathing, agility, memory and concentration.
